Max Goldfoot 1910 Census

Max Goldfoot, age 32, born about 1878, was on the 1910 census of Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts 8th Ward District 1369. He was a junk dealer, Jewish, and spoke Yiddish. He came from Russia to USA in 1895 at the age of 15.

His wife was Rebecca, age 30 with the same background. They had 3 children all born in Massachusetts: Harry, age 7, Robert age 2, and Florence age 2 months. He lived in a Jewish neighborhood of Boston. He was not on the 1920 census.

Because he was in Boston tells me that he could have come to the USA through Montreal, Quebec, Canada. "The trains departed from Montreal to Boston (info could be found in NARA). This person is very similar to my grandfather, Nathan Goldfoot who also went to Montreal on the ship Parisian but was born about 1871. Also, because Max's children were born in Massachusetts, that tells me he arrived there first.
